When addressing social and environmental issues, RAG takes its lead from the ISO 26000 international CSR standard. We regard CSR as an integrative approach, and our CSR working group is therefore made up of representatives of all the relevant operations in the Group who have the necessary expertise. This team is coordinated by head of Corporate Communications and is supported by external consultants as required.
Functions represented in the CSR working group:
Measures taken as part of the CSR activi- ties are reviewed and evaluated at regular intervals to determine whether additional steps need to be taken. The meetings are minuted and activities recorded, enabling us to continuously improve our sustaina- bility performance. The Executive Board is kept in touch with the progress of the CSR activities and takes the strategic decisions required.
